All educational programs are designed to help meet State Academic Content Standards, and to encourage youth and families to engage in outdoor activities as a healthy lifestyle choice.

  

The Outside Is In!
 
The National Whitetail Deer Education
Foundation offers “The Outside is In!” field
trip and group tour program highlighting
hands-on outdoor education. This aspect of
our programming features activities at the
Deerassic Park Education Center and
focuses on the park’s beautiful property of
woods and fields.
The Whitetail's Journey
 
The NWDEF also offers “The Whitetail’s Journey,” which is an innovative, in-school program focusing on the importance of the whitetail deer in Ohio’s history.
Our Presenters
 
Our presenters bring years of outdoor experience, knowledge and passion for the outdoors to inspire youth, and audiences of all ages, in lifelong learning of the wonders of the natural world.
Public Events
 
The NWDEF has hosted numerous public events and programs at our Deerassic Park Education Center. These programs are open to the public for zero to minimal cost.
